Outcomes Research
The Houston Methodist Center for Outcomes Research (COR) drives fundamental improvements in patient outcomes using multidisciplinary approaches, including medical science, engineering, organizational design, health services, biostatistics and analytics. The COR was originally created in partnership with the Texas A&M School of Public Health and built the foundation required to test, validate and implement outcomes research-based innovations in care settings. The COR is currently expanding to a hub and spoke model that supports hospital service line pods dedicated to outcomes research programs that improve efficiency, quality and evidence-based practice for all service lines.
