Departmental Participation at AAO-HNS in record numbers

Twenty-four Houston Methodist physicians recently presented at the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) Annual Meeting in September. It was the largest number of presentations made by Houston Methodist otolaryngology–head and neck surgeons. Topics ranging from the use of artificial intelligence in interpreting imaging, education and research to volunteer experiences to hospital-based otolaryngology and beyond, Houston Methodist physicians gave presentations and poster presentations and participated in panel discussions before their peers at the annual conference in Miami. “The extensive research and diverse panel presentations at our academy highlight our department's strong commitment to research and innovation. This is truly exciting, and we look forward to continuing our impact on advancing our field,” said Omar G. Ahmed, MD.
